The Irish partner school involved in this project is Davis College. Davis College in located in the South of Ireland in the Cork town of Mallow.
Davis College is a coeducational secondary school with approx 630 pupils in attendance. The students age from 12 to 19 years of age. Davis College has a proud tradition of providing a quality education for the young people of Mallow and the wider community which extends over several decades. The college has constantly striven to enable all those entrusted to its care to fulfill their potential in a stimulating and supportive environment, where excellence in teaching and learning is a carefully fostered objective. The college has established a council of teachers who work intensively to formulate strategies aimed at furthering academic attainment. This is in keeping with best practice as observed in other institutions. This council engages various experts on education and school planning to advise on developing strategies focused on increasing academic attainment. |
